Induction Course for New Society Chairs
The Induction Course for New Society Chairs is run as two separate two-hour sessions, which are run separately over two consecutive days.
You will have the opportunity to meet The Arts Society staff and others taking up the same role from other Societies, as well as covering specifics relating to your new role, risk assessment and the support that's available to you.
Programme Planner Workshop
Led by Katherine, The Arts Society’s Education Director, this session will focus on answering your questions, sharing best practices, and exploring ways to create engaging and inspiring programmes. You’ll also have the chance to connect with others in the same role and learn about the resources and support available to you.
Promoting Your Society Workshop
Facilitated by Joe Little, The Training Manager, and Angela Payne, The Head of the Support Team. Rather than a traditional "how to" on promoting your society, these workshops enable Societies to come together and share experiences, ideas and advice on promoting their Societies locally or online. Open to any Committee Role or Member involved, please bring any questions, concerns, or advice you might have.
Team Recuitment Workshop
Facilitated by Joe Little, the Training & Content Manager and Angela Payne, The Head of the Support Team. Rather than a traditional "how to" on team (committee) recruitment, these workshops enable Societies to come together and share experiences, ideas and advice on any successes or experiences they've had in recruitment members into their committee or team. Open to any Role or Member involved, please bring any questions, concerns, or advice you might have.
